How Received: school library
After being imprisoned in a tower, a princess and her serving maid at last escape to find a changed world and danger at every turn.
I actually hadn't meant to pick up this book for a little while, but this is what happens when it stands there on a library school shelf before first period, yelling at you. 'Pick me up and read me! Check me out!'
Nobody can resist the call of a book.
It was a very well written book and the language was quite lyrical, and I was grinning at some of the silly jokes in it. All in all, it was a pretty good book.
I've also read some of the interviews Shannon Hale has done. She seems like a genuinely funny person!
Overall Rating: 9 out of 10.
Book of a Thousand Days or ...?: The one thing I can tell you is that I haven't read a diary that has taken place on another world, especially one with a plot line like this.
Happy reading!
