My friend Kellyn lent me this novel as well. I believe she has a vampire obsession... it's just my guess, though, seeing as she also lent me Marked and Vampire Academy. But hey, it's just a guess!

I did enjoy this book immensely. Some of the characters were a bit two-dimensional, without much emphasis or thought, but she hit it right on the dot with Monica and her gang. Claire reminded me a bit of Bella from Twilight without the 'I love a vampire' bit. All in all, it was a good book, full of action and just a tad of romance, but the characters could have been a bit more fleshed out. And, besides, she left the book in a cliffhanger - and that's just not nice!

Overall Rating & Final Comments: 8 out of 10, for the cliffhanger and lack of detail in the characters.
Glass Houses or Twilight?: I prefer Twilight, but Glass Houses is a shorter book and a bit of an easier read. Glass Houses, however, strays much further into the fantasy side than Twilight did.
