I Heart You, You Haunt Me

I Heart You, You Haunt Me
Author: Lisa Schroeder
Series: ---
Publisher: Simon Pulse
How Received: gift

Girl meets boy.
Girl loses boy.
Girl gets boy back...
...sort of.

Ava can't see him or touch him, unless she's dreaming. She can't hear his voice, except for the faint whispers in her mind. Most would think she's crazy, but she knows he's here.

Jackson. The boy Ava thought she'd spend the rest of her life with. He's back from the dead, as proof that love truly knows no bounds.

Shout out to The Page Flipper for sending me her copy so I can indulge my reading obsession!

This story wasn't as good as I expected it to be. It's written in verse, which I love, but it lacked some substance that other stories have, and some of the characters were a bit flat, like Ava's mother and some of her friends.

It was an original story with an original plot line and I couldn't see any major flaws in it. I loved the ending, but it was somehow... incomplete... to me. All in all it was a nice, easy read.

Overall Rating: 7/10.
I Heart You, You Haunt Me or ...?: Like I said before, I Heart You, You Haunt Me has an original plot line that I can't compare anything else too.

Happy reading!

  3. Yep. Agreed, story siren. She's a bloggin fool. And I think 'obsessed' is a pretty big understatement. More like...addictedobsessedstalkerofbooks. And even that's an understatement. You read like...two books a day, Nicole!

  4. DO NOT. Okay, maybe sometimes. ^^" I had a day off today and so I sat and just read, read, read. And then my mom wouldn't let me on the computer, so I read more. =] Some days I don't read any books at all, so it evens out.
