The Fowls are a very cunning family. They get what they want, when they want it, illegal or not. Artemis Fowl is the smartest of them all. He's also only twelve.
What he wants is proof of fairies and fairy gold. And when he get Captain Holly Short of the LEP Recon squad... who knows what'll happen.
This is one of my favorite fantasy series of all time. Colfer brings us into a believable world of magic and science combined. Though I can't read this story anymore -- I've read it over fifty times and have random passages memorized -- it's a fantastic read for fantasy readers who haven't read it before.
Overall Rating: 9.5/10 plus a little fairy gold
Artemis Fowl or Magyk?: Magyk, though an interesting story, doesn't have the same caliber story as Artemis Fowl.
