This book wasn't even on my radar until the cover release and then holy hell, Batman! That cover! And then that summary! Assassins! I LOVE assassins! And girls who decide to be badass!
And still, ugh, that cover! It's gorgeous!
And bonus points for being a stand-alone!
What do you think of it, hmm?

You had me at standalone! This looks pretty awesome!:)
ReplyDeleteA lot of books are being bought as stand alone now, but if the sales are great there will be a sequel. You will start to see lots of stand alone books with expansions soonish. :D
ReplyDeleteNot that this book is one of those (but I know of at least one that is going to surprise you:P) But originally I came to say this one has been on my radar a while! I can't wait to read it.

ReplyDeleteWhoops, bad link! Basically LOVE the look of this book. The cover is gorgeous, the summary totally sells it to me and I love the promise of 'mysterious cats'! And I love standalones but too often just end up greedily wanting more... guess we'll have to see! Great pick! :)

It is definitely a stand-alone, as in, this particular adventure ends and the characters have resolution - but there will be another book set in the same world.
ReplyDelete(Might be a prequel or following other characters I CAN'T TELL YOU THAT IT'S SECRET).
I saw this'n on Steph Su's blog! It was my absolute favorite of all the ones she'd posted. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an awesome cover! And assassins!
ReplyDeleteI'm TOTALLY into this book! You picked a fabulous one! I'm super excited! Check out My WOW?
ReplyDeleteThat cover! I would LOVE the publishers if they made this cover into posters; I would totally put one up on my wall!
