Waiting on Wednesday: Days of Blood and Starlight

Because we all have something we're waiting for.

Days of Blood and Starlight
Author: Laini Taylor
Series: Daughter of Smoke and Bone (#2)
Release Date: 06 November 2012

In this stunning sequel to the highly acclaimed Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Karou must come to terms with who and what she is, and how far she'll go to avenge her people. Filled with heartbreak and beauty, mysteries and secrets, new characters and old favorites, Days of Blood and Starlight brings the richness, color and intensity of the first book to a brand new canvas.

I wasn't heavily attached to Daughter of Smoke and Bone - except for when it came to the worldbuilding. I loved, loved, loved the world.

And I'm hoping Days of Blood and Starlight will do two things: show me more of the world, and make up for the instalove that made me vomit in the first book.

Are you guys looking forward to this?

  9. I KNOW right? It was like "BAM! We're in love now btw!" Eeesh. I loved the first half of the first book (Prague! Awesome!) but didn't really care about the second half at all... I hope the sequel makes up for it.
