Recommendation: Badass sailors

I really do love books that take place on the sea.

I need more! Anybody have recommendations of their own?

  2. Peter and the Starcatchers. LOVE that book!!
    Also, Vampirates. I am not sure if Vampirates is any good, but it takes place on the sea!

    It's not YA -- far from it, in fact -- but Kristan really loves the book MONSOON by Wilbur Smith. Sailors, pirates, England, Africa, India, adventure, battles, love, sex... it's got everything!

  4. I LOVE Piratica. Seriously, those books are amazing! I really need to read the Bloody Jack series.

    As for recs, I've heard Peter and the Starcatchers is great. (The show is incredible.)
