Stacking the Shelves

Last week I went home for a much-needed break for Thanksgiving. It was ah-mazing to spend time with my family; we put up the Christmas tree and went to the mall and my sister is forcing me to read Divergent on pain of death.

I also had a whole ton of books waiting for me!

Not pictured: I shelved Dracula before I took photos so it could go with the rest of its set. It's adorable. My sister got me a Castle calendar for my birthday. I also got money and a b-e-a-utiful massage.

Left: Julie Kagawa's The Lost Prince (ARC) and an adorable necklace
Right: Christopher Pike's Witch World (ARC) in a paper confetti box and chocolate coins! (They know the way to this girls' heart.)

The downfall of being on mailing lists is that I get a lot of doubles and books I won't read; depending on my finances, I might be hosting a few giveaways for y'all in the future. Or my school might get some really nice books. Who knows?

Have you guys gotten anything interesting recently?

  1. I love that Mew is just chilling with your books. Lol. :) I'm really looking forward to The Art of Wishing! Happy reading!

  2. Great haul! So many awesome books and toys! Love the little Mistress of all Evil! And Mew is adorable too. Happy belated birthday! Enjoy!

  3. DOBAS, also, and a few Harper Teen ARCs (including MILA 2.0, which was pretty good!). Like you, we sometimes get doubles, and will likely be hosting a holiday giveaway to clear some of our shelf space soon.

  4. SO MUCH AWESOME! I want The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland And Led The Revels There so much that you have no idea!!!!! Can't wait to see what you think! And I LOVE that dragon mug; it is SO you!

    1. That's actually my second copy of it -- I had an ARC that I already reviewed!

  5. Now that is a birthday. All these books make me think of Scrooge McDuck - I wish it was physically possible to jump into a pile of books and swim in them, because that would be good here.
