The reason I love these covers is that it's a dead girl in a pretty dress. But that's literally what the book is. It's a dead girl in a pretty dress who goes around haunting people and dismembering them.
The covers manage to capture that. While Anna Dressed In Blood is more mysterious and Girl of Nightmares is more dynamic, both suit their stories pretty well. (Well, I expect Girl of Nightmares will after I finish reading it this week.) And in both covers, Anna is standing in realistic poses!
I am pleased.
What do you guys think?

I love these covers. I haven't read them but these covers make me want to read them so bad!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm with you, these two are some of my favorite covers, they're absolutely stunning and fit the books perfectly. The first one is colder and creepier to me, which the second is more in your face horrific, which kind of fits the stories.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't initially a fan of the ADIB cover, but then I read the book and realized how perfect it was for the story. I'm hoping the sequel's amazing cover suits the story inside as well :)
