Friday Fronts - Cold Spell

Jackson Pearce released the cover of her latest fairy tale retelling on her blog! And I have to say, this one is as gorgeous as the rest - you can look at them all together on her original post.

One of the reasons I really love them, and this one is particular, is that they really capture the fairy tale feel. They look magical and classic all at once. They're symbolic of the story rather than catering to the stereotypical fairy tale retelling covers - no pretty girls in dead dresses!

What do you think?

  2. Lovely! And they do all go together nicely. (Although we remember a very different original cover for SISTERS RED, no? It was cool too.) Love her blog header as well! Basically she's got some good design mojo in her life. ;)

  3. Ahhh, I'm kind of sad they've redesigned away from the original covers of Sisters Red and Sweetly—I really loved those.

  5. I love the cover for this one although I do adore a girl in a pretty dress ideally not dead looking though.

  6. Gorgeous covers!
While I do love the typical covers that you see over and over for any genre, I can never remember which I already own in a bookstore while browsing (maybe I need to take a hint and work on my TBR instead of decimating my wallet). It ones like these that would stand out and make me pick them up. The one for Fathomless is exceptionally beautiful.
