To me, there wasn't MUCH of a love triangle. It was more of best friends who are dealing with their changing feelings for one another and do stupid stuff as a result of it. Troy's character was actually important (and not just there for kicks--he's intrinsic to the plot), and I think my attachment to the ending was affected by Delaney's hold on him, and his hold on her. They're intertwined by this common thing that they've had to go through, but it was never 'LOVE'.

The romance aspect was pretty linear, and there is no way a Team Decker & Team Troy thing will EVER come into fruition. Because the ending makes everything VERY clear.

Feel free to discuss. I don't know. I just felt that this "love triangle" was dealt with nicely. It wasn't useless or just there to make teen girls swoon or whatever.
