About WORD
WORD for Teens was founded in 2005 after Nicole's mother accused her of talking too often about books. She took to the Internet and hasn't left since. In June of 2013, it segued over from a review blog to a purely discussion blog.

About Nicole
Nicole currently attends SUNY New Paltz. She is in her junior year and double majors in Public Relations and English. She has blonde hair and a love of dragons. The rest changes without notice.

WORD was featured in Read, Remember, Recommend for Teens and Nicole has been quoted in Publisher's Weekly, spoke on the Children's Book Council's forum event 'From the teen's perspective' in 2011, and moderated a young adult discussion panel at New Paltz's Inquiring Minds in 2012.
