What is Debut December!?
An excellent question, mysterious person reading this page. Debut December is an event running from December 10 to December 31 in which every day will be spent featuring 2012 debut books, talking to 2012 debut authors, and giving away 2012 debut books!
What do you mean, featuring!?
Another excellent question! Roughly three times a week, posts will go up featuring books that will come out next year, from Megan Miranda's Fracture in January to Lenore Appelhans' Level Two this fall. You'll have a great idea of what to look forward to in the upcoming year!
And, um, talking to authors?
This just means that some authors, like Jodi Meadows, will stop by for an interview. Or somebody like Eve Marie Mont will stop by and guest post. You can check the full schedule below.
And GIVEAWAYS!?
Yup! There will be a few giveaways going on for some of the debut books and some swag as the weeks go on, including a special giveaway for librarians who don't have the money to flesh out their YA section.

How convenient! On a day-soon-to-be-decided-sometime-in-the-first-week-of-Debut-December, I will be hosting a giveaway, sponsored by the lovely and fabulous Harper Teen. All a librarian has to do to enter is fill out a form with their name, email, their library and a few lines as to why they want to win the ten pack of books. Eight of the books are debut titles and two are brand new books from popular authors!
